Photography, Knowledge, and the South Kensington Museum
I am Curator: Architecture and Design in the Art, Architecture, Photography and Design Department at the Victoria and Albert Museum, London. I am also studying for a PhD in the history of the V&A’s Photography Collection at the Photographic History Research Centre at De Montfort University, Leicester. With Professor Elizabeth Edwards I recently co-edited the volume What Photographs Do: The Making and Remaking of Museum Cultures, published by UCL Press in November 2022. I am also the author of Eric Ravilious: Landscapes and Nature, published by Thames and Hudson/V&A in 2023.
My supervisors are Professor Kelley Wilder, De Montfort University, and Martin Barnes, V&A.
